Soul Surfer is about a surfer that is a teenager and the surfer lost an arm right in the middle of a shark attack. She now has to deal with life after this attack and this movie is about her struggles and what all happened before and after the attack. The mom known as Cheri is played by Helen Hunt, the father Tom is played by Dennis Quaid. Bethany Hamilton is played by Annasophia Robb and her bother Noah is played by Ross Thomas and her other brother Timmy is played by Chris Brochu. All of them have been surfers all of their lives because their parents have trained them and showed them what to do when surfing.
Bethany loves surfing and is a natural at it. Her best friend is Alana Blanchard played by Lorriane Nicholson and she’s also known as a surfer. Both of the teams have a dream of being a pro at surfing but all of that is changed because of the attack from the shark. Her plans are shattered from the attack because of losing her left arm. She has to act fast in order to survive the attack. Sarah Hill, played by Carrie Underwood is her church pastor and she talks with her church pastor because she’s thinking about surfing again, regardless of her arm. This is a very intense movie and you’ll watch in amazement as she learns how to surf once again. You’re wrong if you think that she stops only there. Be ready for a surprise as to what she might do next after she learns.
